It's been awhile since I've blogged. In fact, I haven't written a thing since school started. I have the greatest intentions to blog at least once a month, but life seems to get in the way or I get lazy and I just don't seem to get it done. Anyway, I'll attempt to catch up a little.
In September, Darren and I went on a fun motorcycle trip with some of our friends. We rode to Taos the first night and then on to Durango the next night. This is a picture of "Paquito's Posse". Don't we look like a mean tough of riders! We had a wonderful time with friends and saw some of God's magnificent artwork on the way through the mountains.

We've also been to several ACU football games. They had another fabulous season. One of the most special games was played at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium. What a treat to get to see that amazing stadium and watch Nathan coach the Wildcats!

Waiting for the game to begin
We've made a couple of trips to see Jarrod and Bo (the Great Dane) in Colorado Springs. Jarrod and Bo have become great roommates, but I have a feeling Jarrod may be kicked out of his bed soon. Bo already weighs about 75 lbs and is growing more and more each day.
Life is busy, but things are good. We have lots of fun together, but certainly enjoy the time we get to spend with our kids. What would life be without family?
As we enter this holiday season, I'm so thankful for so many things, but mostly it is the people in my life. My family (near and far), my friends, my school peeps - it's the people that matter the most! I pray that each of you reflect on this year and truly thank God for the blessings in your life! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
